Philadelphia, PA Vestian, a global commercial real estate firm focused exclusively on occupier representation and corporate real estate services, has opened its Philadelphia office and the appointment of Tommy Choi as executive managing director and Philadelphia market leader.

Choi will lead Vestian’s growth throughout the Greater Philadelphia region, focusing on office and industrial tenant representation, corporate real estate advisory and portfolio services. The new office expands Vestian’s Northeast presence and gives regional companies access to the firm’s global occupier-focused platform.

Choi brings more than 16 years of corporate real estate experience, having held positions with Cresa and SVN before joining Greenwood CRE as a founding member of its Philadelphia office, where he served as senior vice president and practice partner. He has exclusively represented occupiers ranging from Fortune 500 companies and mid-market businesses to government agencies, universities, healthcare organizations and nonprofits. His expertise includes tenant representation, portfolio management, site selection, lease negotiations and real estate strategy.

“Philadelphia is an important and dynamic market with tremendous opportunities for companies navigating increasingly complex real estate decisions,” said Choi. “I’m excited to join Vestian and bring its occupier-focused platform and global capabilities to companies throughout the region. Vestian’s approach aligns closely with how I have built my practice — putting clients’ business objectives first and combining strategic advice, financial analysis and transaction execution to create measurable value.”

Choi’s clients have included Comcast, Verizon, AT&T, Paramount, the City of Philadelphia, Philadelphia Housing Authority, University of Pennsylvania, Jefferson Health, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Cummins Power Systems, Medtronic and LabCorp. His transaction experience includes site selection and negotiation of a 229,000 s/f industrial lease for the City of Philadelphia, an 183,000 s/f industrial lease renewal for Cummins Power Systems, and the disposition of an 82,263 s/f former call center and 6.54-acre property for Comcast.

“Tommy’s experience and deep relationships throughout the Philadelphia business community make him an excellent addition to Vestian as we establish a dedicated presence in the market,” said Michael Silver, chief executive officer of Vestian. “His occupier-only perspective, transaction expertise and understanding of the region will enable us to deliver the strategic real estate advice our clients expect. We look forward to building our Philadelphia practice under his leadership.”

“The addition of Philadelphia and Tommy Choi is another important step in Vestian’s continued growth,” said Boris Shraybman, senior vice president and head of brokerage at Vestian. “With approximately 30 offices globally, we continue to expand strategically in markets where clients need sophisticated occupier representation and corporate real estate expertise. Tommy’s background and reputation position us well to serve local organizations and global clients with requirements in the region.”

Choi holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Temple University, along with postgraduate credentials from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a licensed real estate professional in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and was named an AL DÍA News Media 40 Under 40 honoree in 2021. He has also held leadership roles with several Philadelphia-area civic and business organizations.

The new office will serve clients throughout Greater Philadelphia, providing occupier representation and corporate real estate services across office, industrial and other commercial property sectors.
