Boston, MA Foxfield, a real estate investment and development firm focused on industrial and residential markets across the East Coast, has formed its new in-house property management division, Foxfield Management. With this expansion, Foxfield strengthens its approach to management of its assets and further strengthens its position as an East Coast leader in commercial real estate investment and development, and now, property management.

Foxfield will transition 17 of its assets across New England to Foxfield Management from third-party management companies. The Foxfield Management portfolio will comprise more than 2.1 million s/f of office, warehouse and industrial flex space.

“The creation of Foxfield Management marks an exciting new chapter for Foxfield,” said Jeff Theobald, managing partner of Foxfield. “With this venture, we’re deepening our commitment to delivering top-tier service to our tenants while ensuring greater operational oversight and long-term value creation across our portfolio. We’re looking forward to curating a best-in-class platform that reflects the same strategic approach and excellence we bring to all aspects of our business.”

To lead this new division, Foxfield has appointed Jason Richardson as the firm’s managing director of property management. In this newly created role, Richardson is responsible for overseeing operations across Foxfield’s portfolio, implementing best-in-class management practices, enhancing tenant experience and preserving long-term value. Prior to joining Foxfield, Richardson was vice president within Newmark’s Property Management team where he supported a 10 million s/f portfolio across New England, encompassing a range of asset types and classes, including office, industrial, life science, and retail. He has also previously held positions at CBRE and Transwestern, underscoring his deep industry experience.

Foxfield has also hired Francesca Trefry as senior property manager to strengthen its newly launched management division. In this role, Trefry will oversee day-to-day operations for Foxfield Management and provide strategic oversight across the firm’s growing portfolio throughout New England. Francesca comes to Foxfield Management from JLL, and has serviced the Foxfield portfolio exclusively since 2017, bringing with her direct tenant and vendor relationships.
