The Procopio Companies launches leasing at 60-unit mixed-use community Amara in Beverly, MA

Beverly, MA The Procopio Companies (Procopio), a fourth-generation, full-service real estate development and construction management firm, newest mixed-use community, Amara, has received its Certificate of Occupancy. Residents have officially begun moving in, and leasing is underway.

Located at the convergence of Cabot St., and Rantoul St., two of the North Shore’s prominent main streets, Amara brings 60 market-rate, class A studio, one-, and two-bedroom residences to teh city’s downtown corridor. The five-story development sits on a zero-lot-line urban site, delivering modern city living with amenities that include a rooftop deck, fitness center, work-from-home space, and both garage and surface parking. Many units offer views of Beverly Harbor and feature expansive windows that fill interiors with natural light, along with efficient floor plans designed for comfort and privacy.

“After the success of our Sedna development along the Beverly waterfront, we are proud to once again partner with the City of Beverly to bring thoughtfully designed housing options to the community,” said Bryan Vitale, SVP of investments at Procopio. “The early resident interest and move-ins at Amara reflect the growing demand for high-quality, well-located living on the North Shore.”

While Cabot St. has been a cultural anchor for Beverly with institutions such as The Cabot theater and Montserrat College of Art, Rantoul St. has seen a significant resurgence in the past decade, welcoming new restaurants and breweries to the community. Residents will benefit from walkable access to local shops, restaurants, beaches, and the MBTA commuter rail at Beverly Depot, which offers service to Boston and beyond.

Procopio partnered with Beverly Crossing to co-develop Amara, serving as both lead developer and construction manager. SV Design is the architect and interior designer for the project.
