Fresenius Kidney Care opens 6,800 s/f at Pleasant Valley Crossing

Sutton, MA Fresenius Kidney Care is the first tenant to take up residence at the second phase of the Pleasant Valley Crossing grocery anchored shopping center.

Phase II of the Pleasant Valley development offers a total of four retail spaces to a multitude of retail and restaurant prospects. The project is part of Galaxy Development's ongoing commitment to completion of the site, which began with the opening of the center in 2015.

Fresenius Kidney Care, the dialysis division of Fresenius Medical Care, outpatient health facility, has taken up a 6,800 s/f space to serve as a dialysis center - the chain’s eighth central Massachusetts location.

The center will have a capacity to treat up to 72 patients a week, with Massachusetts having nearly 11,750 patients on dialysis.

The German company, which has its U.S. headquarters in Waltham, said it has more than 2,200 dialysis facilities, outpatient cardiac and vascular labs, and urgent care centers.

Luv2Play, an indoor play area for children, will be the second tenant of Phase II and the third New England location for the Arizona company.

The new tenants join grocery store anchor Market32, UniBank, Five Guys, Starbucks, Verizon and Pleasant Valley Dentistry in the plaza off Rte. 146.

Galaxy is also primed to embark on Phase III with another 130,000 s/f of leasable space.

When complete, the Pleasant Valley project will total 225,000 s/f of retail space plus a residential parcel that can accommodate multifamily or seniors housing.
