Freudenheim Partners relocates and expands ArkeaBio to 12,461 s/f at 500 Rutherford Ave.

Charlestowon, MA Freudenheim Partners has relocated and expanded Arkea Bio Corp. (ArkeaBio), a pioneer in developing technology to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from the agricultural sector, to 500 Rutherford Ave. The company will be occupying a 12,461 s/f sublease on the third floor of 500 Rutherford Ave. 

Ellie Cullinan executive vice president of Freudenheim Partners, represented the tenant, ArkeaBio, while Carolyn Wheatley and Zach Gramlich of JLL represented the sublandlord in the transaction. 

“ArkeaBio has had a great deal of success with their highly skilled and seasoned team. They were expanding rapidly and needed fully built out lab space for immediate occupancy,” said Cullinan. “It’s a testament to the evolution of the neighborhood that AkreaBio is joining Indigo AG as agriculture companies ushering the former Hood dairy manufacturing complex into a new era of life sciences. We are excited to see what Arkea-Bio does in its new space.” 

500 Rutherford Ave. is a renovated and landscaped three-story building in Hood Park. The property is close to the Orange Line at the Sullivan Sq. stop and provides easy to North Station and Assembly Row. Park amenities include a private tenant lounge, electric vehicle charging stations, fitness center and shuttle to the MBTA.
