G. Greene Construction marked 60th anniversary with expansion

Boston, MA G. Greene Construction marked its 60th anniversary with the expansion of its Hyde Park warehouse and office facility, a long-term, multi-phase investment in owned operational infrastructure. This milestone celebrates the company’s commitment to excellence and the people behind every project.

Founded in 1966, G. Greene has built a six-decade legacy as one of New England’s leading general contractors. Trusted by the region’s most respected organizations, the company supports healthcare, higher education, sitework, and defense, including highly regulated environments. This anniversary reflects both an enduring reputation and continued growth.

The Hyde Park expansion is a strategic investment in G. Greene’s long-term vision. The 82,960 s/f office facility strengthens operational capacity with greater in-house control over equipment and fleet. It also enhances logistics and provides improved support for both field and office teams as the company continues to grow its portfolio of complex, mission-critical projects.

The expansion further underscores a forward-looking approach centered on the people, systems, and infrastructure required to deliver consistently at scale while maintaining full operational continuity.

“This expansion reflects who we are at 60 years and where we’re headed next,” said G. Greene president, Robert Greene. “It emphasizes our dedication to our people, clients, and partnerships that have shaped our success in New England for six decades, setting the stage for ongoing growth.”

This achievement follows the recent launch of G. Greene’s new website, which kicked off the company’s year-long 60th anniversary celebration and highlights its history, capabilities, and vision.

As G. Greene enters its seventh decade, the company proudly carries forward what has always set it apart while continuing to build New England’s legacy for generations to come.
