Hamden, CT According to Barbara Pearce, CEO and president of Pearce Real Estate, Joel Galvin, GRI, CCS, a senior commercial agent and Gerri Sutfin, a residential sales associate in the company’s New Haven office have joined forces to sell a 17 unit residential apartment at 550 Whitney Ave., for $1.385 million. Galvin represented the seller, Ellsworth’s Capri, LLC., and he and Sutfin represented the buyer, Wildwood Holding, LLC.

Galvin joined the Pearce Real Estate in 1989 after a lengthy career owning and operating a major retail/construction business. He specializes in the sales and leasing of office, industrial, commercial and investment properties in New Haven County and the Shoreline area. He also often acts as a buyer/tenant representative, where he covers all of Connecticut, assisting clients in their search for particular properties. He is a member of the Connecticut Association of Realtors, past president of the commercial, industrial division of the New Haven Board of Realtors where he was a member of the professional standards committee, chairman of the by-laws committee and member of the education committee of the Shoreline Board of Realtors. Galvin has been a director of the Guilford Chamber of Commerce for nine years and is currently an Ambassador with the New Haven Chamber of Commerce. He was named Top Producing Commercial Agent in 2015, as well as Top Producer for the North Haven office.

Sutfin earned her B.S. degree in elementary education at Southern Connecticut State University. In her first year at Pearce Real Estate, she was name “Rookie of the Year 1999.” She is a member of the Connecticut Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Recently, she was named Top Producer for Q1 2016.
