Gaucher of O,R&L Commercial sells Grace Lutheran Church in Plainville, CT for $600,000

Plainville, CT O,R&L Commercial has completed sale of 222 Farmington Ave. Grace Lutheran Church Inc., the owner of the 6,692 s/f church, and the adjacent residential building lot, decided to merge with another church and no longer needed the two properties they owned.

The buyer, 222 Farm Ave., LLC, purchased the property with the intention of demolishing the church and getting the approvals to redevelop the property. No approvals were in place at the closing, but the property is zoned for single or multifamily homes. The two properties sold for a total of $600,000. Bob Gaucher of OR&L Commercial represented the seller and Jay Steeves of Century 21 AllPoints Realty represented the buyer.
