GEI Consultants to assist Mass. Executive Office of Public Safety and Security

GEI Consultants, Inc. has been selected by the Mass. Executive Office of Public Safety and Security (EOPSS) to perform an engineering and planning assessment for the Port of Boston Unified Command Center. Under this agreement, GEI and its team member URS Corporation will perform a needs assessment to compile stakeholder requirements; a feasibility study to assess stakeholder needs; a vulnerability assessment to determine any risks associated with these needs; and an implementation plan to establish construction protocol. In addition to EOPSS, stakeholders include the U.S. Coast Guard, the Massachusetts State Police, the Boston Police and Fire Departments, Boston Emergency Services, the Boston Mayor's office, and MASSPORT, among others.
