Gilbane Building Company appoints Onessimo as vice president of business development

Boston, MA Gilbane Building Company, has appointed Laura Onessimo as vice president of business development. Onessimo transitions from vice president of global marketing to lead strategic growth initiatives across Mass. and Northern New England, focusing on the advanced manufacturing, science, and technology sectors, contributing to Gilbane’s continued growth within these rapidly evolving industries.

This strategic move underscores Gilbane’s commitment to expanding its presence in high-growth sectors and reinforces its dedication to delivering exceptional value to clients across the region and beyond.

“Laura has been instrumental in elevating Gilbane’s brand and market presence across New England and beyond,” said Justin MacEachern, Gilbane’s Business Leader for Massachusetts and Northern New England.

“Her deep industry knowledge, strategic mindset, and passion for building strong client relationships make her the ideal leader to drive our business development efforts in these dynamic markets, said Raj Bhangoo, Gilbane’s Director of Business Development, New England.

Onessimo joined Gilbane in 2017 in a business development capacity and was tapped to serve as New England Marketing Director before being promoted to Vice President of Global Marketing. In her new role, she will leverage her extensive experience to cultivate new opportunities and strengthen partnerships in the life sciences, advanced manufacturing, and technology sectors.
