IFMA Boston Awards of Excellence nominations open March 1st. About the Awards: The 2013 Boston Chapter Awards of Excellence are an opportunity to give well-deserved recognition to colleagues, peers and clients in the built environment. Project awards are centered on design, construction and facilities projects in the Greater Boston area, and often focus on a specific system, service, process or achievement. Project honorees are categorized by project size. Individual awards are given to individuals for their contributions to the AEC, CRE, and FM professions as well as their contributions to the local IFMA chapter. Nominations will be considered for the award categories listed in chart 1. About Nominations: IFMA Boston's call for nominations will open on March 1st, and will end promptly on March 27th. Project awards will be judged on the basis for submission, comprehensiveness of program, uniqueness of the project/process, value to the profession, challenges surmounted and creativity. Individual awards will be judged on the basis for submission, the individual's impact/achievements, individuality and contribution to the profession/chapter.
