According to Todd Payne, SIOR, president of Goodfellow Real Estate, Litchfield Insurance Group, Inc. secured the sale of a 19,500 s/f office building at 126 South Main St.
The transaction was handled by Mario Longobucco, of Goodfellow Real Estate, and David Dean, of Litchfield County Commercial Realtors. Longobucco represented the buyer, Paul Prenoveau, of PAC Group LLC, and Dean represented the seller, Litchfield Insurance Group, Inc. PAC Group LLC is a general contracting company based in Torrington.
Longobucco said of the buy, "PAC Group, LLC is one of the leading construction/development firms in our area, and with the timing of this building hitting the market and the type of interior it has with the open structure ceilings and open space, I knew it would be an ideal headquarters location for them."
126 South Main S. was the former home of the Litchfield Insurance Company. The two-acre site includes a two-story, 19,500 s/f office building that was restored in 1996.
"126 South Main is a landmark property in Torrington and an ideal place for our headquarters. We have invested in several properties in the city over the last two years and are pleased to add this to our portfolio," said Paul Prenoveau, president of PAC Group.
