Greene of Compass sells 97 Angell Ave. for $2.3 million

Providence, RI Compass negotiated the sale of 97 Angell Ave. for $2.3 million. Kira Greene, founding agent of Compass Providence, participated in this transaction. With the closing of this most recent sale, Compass represented buyers and/or sellers in 13 of the top 25 sales on the East Side of the city, with Greene involved in 10 of these sales.*

According to buildingsofnewengland.com, this Italianate style home was first lived in by Matthew Watson and his son, Robert in 1854. The three-story brick mansion was later purchased by Robert Brayton Knight, who co-founded the company later known as Fruit of the Loom.

YTD, Greene is the #1 Realtor on the East Side of Providence for closed sales volume and number of transactions. In 2024, Greene ranked as the #3 Realtor statewide and the #2 Realtor on the East Side, with $72 million+ in closed sales volume.
