Grill and Brown of Fairlane Properties, Inc. represent Fairlane Columbia, LLC for 5,400 s/f lease

According to Fairlane Properties, Inc., it has completed leasing of 5,400 s/f at 1035 Cambridge St. to SimpliSafe, One Mighty Roar and Geek Offices. SimpliSafe and One Mighty Roar join over 30 technology companies at the property. Geek Offices is opening its 6th coworking office suite, now with over 14,000 s/f, 30 companies with 65 employees. Stephanie Deering of ABG Realty represented SimpliSafe. Michael Grill and Hillary Brown of Fairlane Properties represented the landlord, Fairlane Columbia, LLC. SimpliSafe, moving from East Cambridge, sells wireless burglar alarms systems and One Mighty Roar, moving from Holyoke, Mass., is a digital media agency. Geek Offices is Cambridge's second largest coworking office space with web-based and technology companies in inbound and outbound-website marketing, mobile and smartphone applications, website design and development, energy technologies, medical solutions, cloud computing and software development. Geek Offices is also the home to companies where "working from home is no longer working" and not-for-profits looking for flexible and inexpensive office space. Geek Offices also opened up a second location in 11,000 square feet at 61 Chapel Street in the Chapel Business Center in Newton.
