Groom Construction and Maguel Architects creating 30,000 s/f centerpiece for historic downtown intersection

Upon Blake Block's completion, this 30,000 s/f building will serve as a centerpiece for the downtown area. Architect Brent Maguel of Maguel Architects has designed the building and its surrounding areas. Groom Construction has collaborated with the owner and the town to ensure a smooth and seamless construction process. The building's first story is designated to house 6 retail shops. The building's second story will contain 7 condominium units. These units will include balconies, as well as full basements with elevator access to provide storage space. Groom has also been contracted to construct a carriage house on the premises. New sidewalks and landscaping will embellish its exterior, adding to the property's charm. Groom's estimated completion date for this project is December 2012.
