Grossman Development Group adds two tenants to Lakeway Commons

Grossman Development Group (GDG) has added two tenants to Lakeway Commons, the re-development project of the former Spags property in the Lakeway Business District area. Starbucks, along with Burton's Grill, will be joining Whole Foods, an early adopter of the project who will occupy a 50,000 s/f building within the proposed retail and residential project. Burton's Grill, based in Andover, currently has restaurants in five cities throughout Mass. "We are delighted to add Starbucks and Burton's Grill to the Lakeway Commons retail roster," said GDG president Howard Grossman. "Both bring a unique food and beverage offering that will enhance Lakeway Commons as a prime area destination. Recently at a special Shrewsbury Town Meeting, GDG received unanimous approval from meeting members for abutting road changes that will allow for better traffic flow. "I am grateful to the Shrewsbury town meeting members," Grossman said "The unanimous vote of approval for the street discontinuance allows the development to be more cohesive in layout." Additional tenant announcements are expecting soon.
