Boston, MA According to Core Investments, Inc., Rebecca Hale, with extensive experience in employee and leadership development, has joined as head of people operations, a new position at the growing real estate development and investment company.

“We are thrilled to welcome Rebecca Hale in a new role as our new head of people operations,” said Brett Lazar, president of Core Investments. “At Core, we prioritize the development of our people right alongside our property developments and are very excited to have Rebecca join us, bringing her leadership coaching and training in house. In addition to her coaching and human resources duties, Rebecca will support me in a chief of staff role. This role further extends our ability to realize the new On the Dot neighborhood and, importantly, our CoreCares philosophy. We are lucky to have Rebecca.”

CoreCares is the public service arm of Core Investments, giving the company and its employees ongoing opportunities to serve the community.

Before joining Core Investments, Hale was a leadership coaching executive at and owner of Rebecca Hale & Co. and was an adjunct faculty member of New Ventures West, supporting the development of professional coaching candidates.

She was previously Executive Coach and Consultant at The Hale Group, a boutique consulting firm, and a recruiter at Stowe Group Healthcare.

She studied at Georgetown University and received her B.A. in Government and International Relations.

On the Dot, a future development of formerly industrial, underused land along the west side of Dorchester Ave., is highly accessible by public transportation and has significant potential for growth including housing, hotel, laboratory and office and open space. Existing buildings on the property have about 40 small to medium-sized tenants.

Core Investments’ Master Plan for the On the Dot neighborhood was unanimously approved by the Boston Planning and Redevelopment Agency’s board of directors earlier this year, and buildings in the first phase, including residential apartments, are now under review.

The future of On the Dot is being planned with a vision consistent with existing residents’ 21st century needs and preferences, in collaboration both with the neighborhood and the city of Boston.
