Matt Halprin of New England Retail Properties, Inc. in Wethersfield, exclusively represented the lease of BFS Retail & Commercial Operations LLC d/b/a Firestone, a 7,653 s/f auto care center, at Copaco Shopping Center which is located at 335 Cottage Grove Rd. Copaco Shopping Center is a 450,000 s/f shopping center located off I-91 and Rte. 218. Halprin was the sole broker in the deal and represented the landlord Amcap Copaco LLC of Stamford.
BFS Retail & Commercial Operations LLC (BFRC) consists of a family of more than 2,000 company-owned vehicle service and tire locations across the U.S., including Firestone Complete Auto Care, Tires Plus, ExpertTire and Wheel Works store locations. Credit First National Association and Firestone Complete Fleet Care operations are also part of BFRC. Today BFRC operates one of the largest number of company-owned automotive retail generalist stores in the world.
Halprin was also the only broker involved in the 1,320 s/f lease to Oluchi Day Spa at the Copaco Shopping Center and represented Amcap Copaco LLC. Oluchi Day Spa is relocating from downtown Hartford and will be offering full day spa services including hairstyling and nails.
Tenants in the center include Super Stop & Shop Supermarket, Lowe's Home Improvement Center, Burlington Coat Factory, CVS Pharmacy, Eblens Clothing and Footwear, McDonald's, IHOP and many more.
