HealthcareSource expands into 31,000 s/f at TradeCenter 128

HealthcareSource, a provider of talent management software for the healthcare industry, has expanded its footprint at TradeCenter 128. It recently moved from offices spread across three floors and 24,000 s/f to a 31,000 s/f location on a single floor, at the same campus. Working with HealthcareSource's design ideas, commercial real estate firm Cummings Properties completed a custom buildout in about 60 days. "Throughout the expansion process, HealthcareSource has demonstrated great effort and care in selecting and designing a work environment customized to its dynamic corporate culture," said Shannon Haines, the Cummings Properties account manager who worked directly with HealthcareSource on the expansion. According to Haines, the new office has numerous windows and 17 skylights, to bring in as much natural light as possible, as well as a vibrant color scheme that reflects the energy and style of the company. The focal point of the space is the custom-built Cabana-style glass phone rooms to be used by sales and marketing personnel. Haines said, "There is definitely a 'wow factor' to this sun-filled, contemporary workspace." Other amenities within the office include a shower for HealthcareSource's fitness-minded staff and a mothers' room. "Our goals with the space were to bring people together in an open floor plan and to have an energetic design," said Michelle Strasburger, senior director of talent management at HealthcareSource. "We not only accomplished these goals but also were able to build in areas to bring people together to meet, collaborate, and innovate." HealthcareSource, led by CEO Peter Segall and CFO Bryce Chicoyne, offers talent management solutions for the healthcare industry that include applicant tracking and onboarding, reference checking, behavioral assessments, performance management, learning management, and e-learning courseware. Cummings Properties, a Woburn-based commercial real estate firm, leases and manages 10 million square feet of prime space for executive offices, healthcare facilities, laboratories, retail storefronts, and more. Its in-house experts in design, construction, and property management allow it to offer "one-stop shopping" for leasing clients, including those in need of customized space.
