Hinckley Allen opens 23,700 s/f headquarters at Paolino's 100 Westminster St. office tower

Providence, RI Hinckley Allen has relocated its Rhode Island headquarters to a new office at 100 Westminster St. The 10-year 23,700 s/f lease at 100 Westminster, owned and managed by Paolino Properties, marks a new chapter for the 120-year-old law firm.

100 Westminster is a 20-story, Class A office tower in the center of downtown. Hinckley Allen has been located at 100 Westminster (formerly 50 Kennedy Plaza and the Fleet Center) since the building opened in 1985.

Hinckley Allen’s new space was designed by Vision 3 Architects with construction management by Tremont Construction and furniture/interior by Sheehans Office Interiors.

Hinckley Allen’s new Providence office represents our confidence in our clients and the firm,” said Patrick Rogers, Hinckley Allen’s managing partner. “One of our strategic goals is investment in our clients and our people. The new Providence office reflects that investment. State-of-the-art technology, outstanding legal talent, and collaborative work-space – all designed to deliver superior, efficient legal services to our clients.”

The firm has been a leader in the state’s legal, business, political, and non-profit community for 120 years. Founded in Providence in 1906, Hinckley Allen now has 175 attorneys, 170 professional staff members, and offices in seven states throughout New England, the Midwest and Florida.

Hinckley Allen has been a cornerstone tenant at 100 Westminster since the building opened in 1985, and we’re proud that they’ve chosen to continue and deepen that relationship through a significant long-term investment in their space,” said Joseph Paolino, Jr., CEO and managing partner at Paolino Properties. “Their decision to stay, grow, and reinvest here reflects both our building’s role as a premier office address and the firm’s enduring commitment to Providence. Legacy tenants like Hinckley Allen are central to the vitality of this property and the city, and we’re pleased to support their next chapter with a workplace designed for longevity, flexibility, and performance.”

The renovated office brings to life a bright, flexible, and future-ready work environment that supports both in-person collaboration and hybrid flexibility. The new layout includes:

• Local artwork by Rhode Island artists. Including a free-standing glass sculpture created by Pawtucket-based artist Tracy Glover.

• Cutting-edge technology and flexible meeting rooms to connect clients and teams across offices.

• Ergonomic, height-adjustable furniture to support comfort and adaptability.

• Energy-efficient lighting and HVAC systems promote sustainability and wellness.

Open café and collaboration zones to foster community and creativity.

The natural light-filled space was designed to elevate Hinckley Allen’s partner and employee experience in a post-pandemic world, thoughtfully balancing private focus areas with shared spaces that encourage mentorship, teaching, training, engagement, and connection.

The building is now owned and managed by Paolino Properties.
