Hunter of Eckman Construction elected to board of Amoskeag Industries

Manchester, NH Eckman Construction vice president, Preston Hunter was elected to the board of directors of Amoskeag Industries, Inc. The corporation, formed in 1936, took over ownership of the Amoskeag Manufacturing Company, after the textile manufacturing company filed for bankruptcy in 1935, with the main purpose of attracting a diversified mix of industries to the city. Today, the corporation’s board is comprised of community leaders who remain focused on the betterment of the greater Manchester area through economic development.
