ICSC appoints Steinberg manager of Leasing at Ocean State Job Lot

International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) has appointed David Steinberg, manager of leasing at Ocean State Job Lot, as ICSC Me., Mass., N.H., R.I., Vt. State Next Generation chair for a one-year term beginning May 20. In this volunteer role, Steinberg will represent the interests of owners, developers, investors, marketers and other retail specialists across the New England states. "ICSC is delighted to welcome David Steinberg into this new leadership role," said Thomas Phillips, state director. "His enthusiasm and willingness to contribute to the success of ICSC and the retail real estate industry will be of great benefit to our growing membership in Me., Mass., N.H., R.I., Vt. "David is a highly valued member of the real estate team here at Ocean State Job Lot. His leadership skills and teamwork mentality will serve him well in this volunteer role," said John Conforti, Job Lot's chief financial officer. Steinberg currently manages the leasing of over 20 Ocean State Job Lot anchored shopping centers as well as other real estate related programs. He previously worked for Konover Development as a vice president where he handled leasing, development, and redevelopments for multiple properties throughout New England. In addition to Steinberg's role within ICSC and Ocean State Job Lot, Steinberg holds the SCLS designation from ICSC in leasing. He has previously been appointed as Conn. ICSC retail state chair and Conn. ICSC state operations. David has been directly involved in multiple programs for ICSC throughout the past 15 years.
