The International Council of Shopping Centers is hosting the Rhode Island Alliance Program on April 3. This one-day program will take place at the Agawam Hunt Club, 15 Roger Williams Ave.
The Rhode Island Alliance Program will focus on the critical role of public-private partnerships and how to jump-start the economic re-growth in the state. The event is tailored to meet the needs of developers, property owners, state and municipal officials, bankers, engineers, real estate brokers and agents. The program will feature a panel discussion session with industry experts from Gilbane Development Company, Granoff Associates, LLC and Peregrine Group, LLC, who will present mixed-use properties and offer insight into financing, permit challenges and other best practices. In addition, break-out sessions will also be available, led by representatives from both the public and private sector, intended to facilitate the exchange of ideas between the government and development community.
“This is an exciting opportunity to share with colleagues from both sides of the table and hear about lessons learned about some of Rhode Island’s recent public-private development successes,” said Lawrence Platt, Platt Realty Group, LLC and ICSC New England private sector co-chair.
Registration fees for the Rhode Island Alliance Program are $35 in advance and $45 on-site for members; for non-members the fees are $45 and $55, respectively. ICSC is also offering reduced rates for public officials, with a fee of $25 in advance and $25 on-site. Press registration is complimentary. To register, contact an ICSC representative at +646 728 3800, or register online.
