Devens, MA IFMA Boston held its annual golf classic on June 11th at the Red Tail Golf Club. The full tournament of golfers were greeted with clouds and scattered showers, but then were treated to beautiful golfing weather! The tournament was sponsored by Shaw Contract and several companies and partners spent the day hole-side to hand out treats and gifts to the golfers. The big winner for the day was VVA LLC with a score of 58 and the most “honest” team from Cannistraro hit an 86.

For individual award winners they had Jim Russo with the Longest Drive for the men and Irene Lee with the Longest Drive for the women. Closest to the Pin men was Nick Passios from VVA who actually got a hole-in-one on the hole! It wasn’t the big money hole, but he still wins a TV! Julie Nasser won Closest to the Pin for the ladies. Brendon Shirley had the Straightest Drive for the men and Lee McElroy for the women.

Frank Murphy was the winner of the putting contest and took his try at the 50’ putt for the $10,000; however, he missed it by just a foot!
