IREM Boston to honor Fish with 1st Lifetime Achievement Award

According to The Institute of Real Estate Management Boston Metropolitan Chapter # 4 on November 5th, the first Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Edward Fish, chairman of E.A. Fish Development, an E.A. Fish Company.
Fish is recognized as a distinguished and visionary leader within New England's professional real estate industry. E.A. Fish Development is responsible for construction and development of landmark real estate projects totaling more then $1 billion in value.
E.A. Fish Development is a Braintree, Mass. based company, and its affiliate companies enjoy a history in the real estate industry spanning 100 years in development, construction and property management. E.A. Fish Development is the leading edge of the E.A. As chairman of the E.A. Fish Companies, Fish draws upon his 42 year history in the real estate industry to provide his related firms with direction through his implementation of long-term strategies. Fish is a graduate of the St. John's Preparatory School in Danvers, Mass. and a magna cum laude graduate of the University of New Hampshire, where he received a bachelors of arts degree in Economics and was recently honored with the 2008 Hubbard Family Award for Service to Philanthropy.
Since his graduation from the University of New Hampshire in 1958, Fish served as assistant treasurer, vice president, and president of Peabody Construction Co. Inc. Fish founded Suffolk Construction Co., Inc. and served as its chairman from its inception through 2006.
Fish has distinguished himself as a leader in the Mass. real estate market through his dedication to affordable housing and responsible development and construction projects.
