IREM Connecticut chapter installs officers for 2009

The Connecticut Chapter of IREM held its annual holiday dinner and installation of officers for 2009, on Wednesday, December 3rd. Linda Libertino with C. A. White installed the following;
Sandi Siedel - President
Siedel is the current vice president of the CT Chapter of IREM and was awarded CPM of the Year for 2007. She earned her CPM designation in 2006 and received her B.S. in Business Management from Central Connecticut State University.
Siedel works as the senior property manager for over 200 residential units in downtown New Haven for C. A. White Inc. as well as approximately 500,000 s/f of commercial space including retail and office properties.
Elizabeth McKiernan - Vice President
McKiernan has been with Hallkeen Management for ten years and a member of IREM throughout her management career. She oversees a portfolio of nine market and affordable housing properties in western Massachusetts and Connecticut comprising 1,057 units and approximately 10,000 s/f of office space. Affordable housing programs include Low Income Housing Tax Credit, Section 8, Rent Supplement, 13A, Section 236, and 80/20. McKiernan has over 20 years in the property management field as a residential manager, senior manager and as a regional manager for the past ten years. She has supervised both family and elderly sites.
Mark O'Hagan - Treasurer
O'Hagan is a 1981 Cum Laude graduate of the University of Connecticut in Storrs with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from its School of Business Administration. He is a career real estate professional with over 20 years of experience and he has been employed since 1991 as an asset manager by the Fusco Management Company, LLC located in New Haven. In 2006 O'Hagan also received the IREM Rising Star awarded at the Institute of Real Estate Management Regional Leadership Conference in Pittsburgh, Penn., and he was the 2007 and 2008 Connecticut IREM Chapter 51 president.
Nancy Reno-Sadloski - Secretary
With more than 20 years of industry experience, she is vice president and partner of East Coast Ventures, Inc., Glastonbury. Prior to establishing East Coast Ventures in 2007, Sadloski was regional director of property management for The Community Builders, Inc., Boston, Mass. for 12 years. As regional director she maintained a portfolio of 2,500 units, which spanned Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. In this role she was also responsible for the company training program and insurance risk management department.
After the installation of officers, Siedel thanked the membership and the executive council for all of their dedication to the chapter. Siedel presented two awards, the first for CPM of the Year. The award went to S. Lane Cree Barry. Barry currently serves as director of property management for Devcon Enterprises, Inc., Management Division. The division is responsible for the management of all properties including those owned by Devcon and those managed on a fee-basis for third party owners/developers. Barry is currently overseeing the management of 1,000 units of multi-family and in excess of 1 million s/f of commercial/retail space.
The second award presented was for Friend of the Year. The award went to Martin Barletta. Barletta is the general manager for American Furniture Rentals, Connecticut region. The Connecticut region is responsible for providing rental furniture for residential, office and event furnishing customers in Connecticut and western Massachusetts. Barletta oversees more than 20 employees in all aspects of sales and operations.
