J.C. Cannistraro, LLC named a Top Place to Work in 2013 by The Boston Globe

The Boston Globe recently honored Massachusetts' best employers in its Top Places to Work magazine. This year, J.C. Cannistraro, LLC has made the list as a top place to work in Mass. For six years running, this 48-page magazine has honored the state's most beloved workplaces based on surveys completed by the people who know them the best - the employees themselves. The Boston Globe's 2013 Top Places to Work survey, conducted by employee survey firm WorkplaceDynamics, measured more than 76,000 individuals' responses to statements regarding six key factors related to employee happiness, including company direction, execution, employee connection, work load and responsibility, management, and pay and benefits. In addition to the rankings, the magazine highlights creative corporate perks including company kayak breaks, fresh salads from an office garden and free rock gym memberships, among others. "The survey results demonstrated how incredibly invested our employees are in the company, and how grateful Cannistraro is for their commitment," said Cannistraro director of marketing Tom Palange. "Being named to the Boston Globe's list of top places to work is an extraordinary honor in which everyone at our firm will take great pride." "As our economy continues to heal, most of the benchmarks for progress are purely quantitative, such as increased pay rates and expanded benefits packages," said Boston Globe business editor Mark Pothier. "While there is definite value in these indicators, many signs of recovery cannot be boiled down to pure economics. The companies on our Top Places to Work list foster productivity and innovation by investing in the happiness of their employees, which cannot solely be measured in dollars and cents." The full list and accompanying article can be found at www.bostonglobe.com/topplaces and www.boston.com/topplaces. J.C.
