J. Calnan awarded Owens & Minor upgrade

J. Calnan & Associates, Inc. was awarded the pre-construction and construction management services for Owens & Minor. This project will be a collaborative effort between Owens and Minor; landlord, TA Realty; architect, Packard Design; construction manager, J. Calnan & Associates; engineer, WB Engineers; Conveying System Contractor, PeakLogix and project management firm, Maverick Project Management. Owens & Minor leased 147,578 s/f at 20 Freedom Way, more than tripling their original footprint. The team is currently working to upgrade the facility's lighting to high output T5 lighting, adding HVAC systems as well as installing a new cutting-edge conveying system to support Owens and Minor's expanding supply chain operations. In an effort to accommodate the growing workforce, the team is also building out new office space and restrooms as well as providing multiple generators to back up the entire facility.
