Jacobs and O’Connor join The Bulfinch Companies, Inc. as investment analysts

Boston, MA The Bulfinch Companies, Inc. has hired two new professionals, Hannah Jacobs and Kate O’Connor, to its growing investments team. Jacobs and O’Connor will work as investment analysts alongside managing director of investments, Conor Brennan and AVP of investments, Josh Cohen.

These new hires represent the latest milestones in Bulfinch’s continued growth and portfolio expansion consistent with the firm’s Drive to 2025 initiative. Since the start of 2021, Bulfinch has added several new team members to the firm’s leadership, investments, property management, and financial teams.

Jacobs, a graduate of Boston College’s Wallace E. Carroll School of Management, received a B.S. in management, concentrating in finance and operations management. She served as an accounting analyst at BC where she was responsible for assisting with financial and bank processes in the Cash/Bank Services office of the college. During her studies, Jacobs worked as a Teaching Assistant for The Carroll School of Management where she served as a mentor to incoming students, assisting with their transition to the school.

O’Connor comes to Bulfinch having served previously as a business analyst at PennyMac Loan Services where she executed reporting processes and distributed updated production summaries. O’Connor graduated from the University of Notre Dame, Mendoza College of Business with a bachelor of business administration, majoring in business analytics.

An accomplished soccer player, O’Connor was a Division I student-athlete and member of Notre Dame’s Varsity Women’s Soccer Team. O’Connor served as a camp counselor at Notre Dame during the summer coaching young girls soccer skills by creating an inclusive learning environment for growth and development. Committed to giving back in her community, O’Connor has been an active volunteer at a local elementary school in Indiana since 2017.
