Jewett Automotive Design & Construction to renovate 31,800 s/f Herb Chambers Co. Ford dealership

Jewett Automotive Design & Construction, a division of Raymond, NH-based Jewett Construction Company, Inc., has contracted with the Herb Chambers Companies to renovate its Ford dealership. This multi-phase project entails 31,800 s/f of interior and exterior renovations, designed by Regent Associates, Inc. to comply with Ford Motor Co. image upgrade requirements. Exterior upgrades include new ACM panels on the facade and new entry tower, as well as the installation of mini piles to support new concrete foundations and a reroofing of the existing building. Interior renovations include new Autostone floor tile in the service bay area, as well as showroom upgrades to include new ceilings, new tile flooring, painting and millwork, as well as new mechanical and electrical systems. The existing bathrooms will be renovated and receive new finishes. The existing service write-up area will also receive new finishes and millwork. Completion is scheduled for the early fall. This is the second project Jewett Automotive has undertaken for the Herb Chambers Co., having renovated the firm's Jaguar and Land Rover dealership in Sudbury this past winter. Jewett Automotive Design & Construction specializes in design/build auto dealership facilities, auto dealership additions, auto dealership renovations and auto dealership fit-ups all across New England—completing more than fifty such projects in the last few years. Other repeat clients include such well-known organizations as Commonwealth Motors, the Grappone Automotive Group, the Route 44 family of dealerships, RC Olsen Cadillac, Ford of Londonderry and Watertown Ford.
