Jewett Construction Co., Inc. completes two O’Reilly Auto Parts stores

Milford, MA Raymond, NH-based Jewett Construction Co., Inc. has completed work on two O’Reilly Auto Parts stores, including construction of a new, ground-up facility in Milford, as well as renovations to an existing store in Augusta, ME.

Work on the Milford store included the demolition of an existing structure, asbestos removal, site work, concrete paving, and the erection of a 6,650 s/f pre-engineered metal building by Butler Manufacturing finished with a floor of polished concrete. Jewett also installed a Venstar energy management system that connects the store with O’Reilly corporate headquarters in Springfield, MO, allowing all lighting and HVAC systems to be controlled from there.

Renovation of the Augusta facility included erecting a 3,000 s/f pre-engineered metal addition by Butler, as well as upgrades to the existing sales area. The project also included selective demolition, site work and drainage upgrades. All work was completed while the store was in full operation.

Jewett Construction is a family-owned design-build/construction management firm specializing in automotive, commercial and industrial projects throughout the Northeast. Its clients include such well-known organizations as The Herb Chambers Companies, The Bean Group, Kennebunk Savings Bank, and the Exeter Area YMCA.
