Jewett Metal Buildings & Steel Erectors completes construction of a new Dollar General store

Working under Benchmark Construction, Jewett Metal Buildings & Steel Erectors has completed construction of a new Dollar General Store in Lewiston, ME. The 8,500 s/f pre-engineered metal building includes a front parapet wall with a four by sixty-foot canopy over the entry way, topped by a galvanized, standing seam roof with r-30 insulation. Jewett Metal Buildings & Steel Erectors, a division of Raymond, NH-based Jewett Construction Co., Inc., provides professional, pre-engineered metal building sales, installation and consulting, erects structural steel, and provides welding and miscellaneous metals work to clients all over New England. Recent projects include a 20,000 s/f boat storage building for Mid-Maine Marine in Oakland, Maine; a 17,500 s/f indoor riding arena for Pepperhill Farm in South Thomaston, Maine; and a 5,000 s/f addition for Maine Oxy in South Portland.
