JLL receives two TOBY awards presented by BOMA Boston

Jones Lang LaSalle won two mid-Atlantic The Office Building of the Year (TOBY) Awards in a ceremony held by the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) last week. The top honors were awarded to Jones Lang LaSalle-managed properties in Cambridge: 250 Mass. Ave. in the Historical Building category, and 100/200 Technology Sq. in the Renovated Building category. Formerly a NECCO candy factory and now owned by Novartis, 250 Mass. Ave. is comprised of 472,000 s/f of office and lab space. Senior manager David Fuller, this year's winner of BOMA Boston Property Manager of the Year, has managed the property for four years. 100/200 Technology Sq., owned by ARE-Tech Sq. and managed by senior manager Kristina Descoteaux, recently completed its fourth renovation involving conversion from office to laboratory space. The property is comprised of 1.13 million s/f of office and lab space. "These two properties competed against an impressive roster of buildings both at the local and regional levels," said Dan Ozelius, senior vice president at JLL. BOMA recognizes excellence in property management through its TOBY program and has membership of over 100,000,000 s/f of commercial real estate space in Boston. Of the three mid-Atlantic TOBYs awarded this year, two went to JLL managed properties.
