JLL's Q3 Greater Boston office stats report continued solid growth

Boston, MA JLL's Q3 Greater Boston Office Market stats reported another quarter of solid growth. Direct average asking rents reached $33.17 per s/f, growing 2.1% quarter-over-quarter and 7.2% year-over-year. The total vacancy rate inched up just 30 basis points to 14.3% which still hovers close to 2007 lows. The market overall reported 312,620 s/f in total net absorption for the quarter. It was a strong quarter all around. Asking rents were up over 5% in eight of Boston’s submarkets year-over-year:
