Johnsen joins Arpin International Group’s global leadership team

West Warwick, RI Arpin International Group has appointed its vice-president Asia-Pacific region, Michael Johnsen, to its global leadership team.

Johnsen will continue to serve in his present role as vice-president Asia-Pacific region and will take on the additional duties of the global leadership team immediately. The team’s membership is comprised of representatives from Arpin’s sales, operations, information technology, customer service, and executive administration departments focused on its international division. 

The duties of the global leadership team include: continuing to help Arpin International Group grow sustainably in accordance with its triple-mission pledge that puts equal weight on economic, operational, and social achievements; enhancement of the company’s global supply chain; bolstering sales and marketing initiatives; improving effectiveness/efficiency by making smart investments in technology; and continuing to develop staff and operations across all lines of business with the goal of delivering exceptional value to Arpin’s customers.

“Michael has been instrumental in developing our presence in the Asia-Pacific region while helping to streamline the supply chain management for Arpin’s global clientele. He has led by example with over two decades of experience launching and growing businesses in the expanding APAC markets” said Peter Arpin, executive vice president of Arpin Group and president of Arpin International Group. “We are looking forward to having Michael on the global leadership team and know that his knowledge and experience will have an immediate impact.”

Johnsen joined Arpin International Group in 2013 and has held several management positions since. A dedicated leader committed to helping employees reach their full potential, he has mentored some of Arpin’s top talent, including Michael Hughes, the company’s recently promoted vice president of global business development, who began his career with Arpin as assistant general manager under Johnsen. In addition to his current roles, Johnsen also oversees the day-to-day management of Arpin’s offices in China, Hong Kong, Australia, and Singapore.

Johnsen earned an MBA from ESCP in Paris and honed his most fundamental leadership skills serving as veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
