Johnson goes to Amsterdam for NW Airlines' inaugural flight

Conn./Westchester chapter board member Sandra Johnson, joined a Conn. and Mass. contingent in Amsterdam to mark Northwest Airlines' July 1st inaugural flight from Conn.'s Bradley International Airport to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. The event united senior CoreNet Global members from the Conn./Westchester and Benelux chapters. The latter comprises corporate real estate leaders from Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. Business, academic and government leaders made up the 75-member U.S. delegation, which included Conn. Lieutenant Governor Michael Fedele and Massachusetts Congressman Richard Neal. The group spent three days meeting with business leaders from the Netherlands. "These meetings were an important first step in forging relationships and exploring opportunities that could benefit both regions," said Johnson, who is vice president and business development officer, MetroHartford Alliance.
