Kaplan of RE/MAX leases 20,800 s/f

Rick Kaplan, CCIM, president of the commercial division of RE/MAX Executive Realty recently represented his client, Happy Tails Doggy Daycare, Inc. in the ten year leasing (with an option to purchase) of 20,800 s/f of warehouse space located at 7 Forge Park. They were originally in 12,000 s/f at 31 Hayward St. This new facility is located closer to the highway and still within the same town. Not only is the new building 66% larger, but it is also expandable for future plans. 7 Forge Parkway, Franklin, will be the new home of Destination Dog, which is a new and upcoming concept in the dog industry. At Destination Dog, dog owners will have access to all dog related services, such as doggie day care, overnight supervised care, grooming, training, chiropractic care, acupuncture, physical therapy with pool, a retail shop that bakes their own dog treats and vet care to include all services except surgery. Happy Tails Doggy Daycare, Inc., started in 2004, has over 130 dogs per day and over 600 different dogs per week. Cathy Sutton, president of Happy Tails Doggy Daycare, Inc. worked with Kaplan for over 2 years to find the ideal location. Robert Nahigian, FRICS, SIOR, CRE, MCR of Auburndale Realty served as advisor to the landlord.
