KeyPoint Partners signs Sun & Ski to 14,393 s/f

KeyPoint Partners, LLC has negotiated a lease with Sun & Ski Sports to occupy a 14,393 s/f space at 406 Washington St., according to Robert Lemons, managing partner and director of leasing for the firm. Don Mace, vice president of leasing, handled the transaction. The store will be situated on the upper level of the building which houses Hogan Tire & Auto Service Center, at the crossroads of I-93/Rte.128, in the center of a major regional shopping destination which includes The Woburn Mall, Target, Kohl's, Lowe's Home Improvement, BJ's Wholesale, Staples, West Marine, and others. "We had a number of prospective tenants interested in this space, and were fortunate to have solidified a deal with a great destination retailer that will benefit greatly from the visibility of this location", Mace notes. "Close to 40,000 cars per day travel Washington Street, and close to 175,000 cars will see Sun & Ski's sign from 128. Plus there's a daytime population of 65,000 within three miles. It's just a great retail location for the right user." "We're looking forward to serving the Woburn and regional market from our new store in this premier location, which will feature ski and snowboard gear in the winter, and patio furniture in the summer," said Steve Rath, Co-CEO/COO of Retail Concepts, Inc., parent company of Sun & Ski Sports. "With this opening, we'll have 30 stores." A November 2012 opening is planned.
