Kirby of Lyman R.E. brokers two transactions totaling 8,000 s/f

Environmental Fire Protection, Inc. (EFP) headquartered in Marlborough has recently leased 5,000 s/f of office/warehouse space at 52 Mallard Crossing. The single-story building is managed by The Windsor Management Company. The lease of five years, including options, began on May 1st.
EFP sells and installs fire protection systems for commercial, industrial and retail buildings. EFP was incorporated in 1976, employs over 175 people and services all New England markets through regional offices in four states. The new South Windsor location is both a relocation and expansion of operations in Connecticut.
Jeff Kirby, agent for Lyman Real Estate, represented the tenant and Don McLaughlin, president of The Windsor Management Group, represented the landlord in the transaction.
In another transaction, Better Sleep LLC, headquartered in Waterford, recently leased 3,000 s/f of upper level retail space in Willimantic. The two-story building lies at the corner of Mountain and Bridge Sts. and is owned by Michael Haddad. The lease of five years, including options began on May 1st.
Better Sleep LLC sells and delivers a variety of sleep systems, futons and light furniture. The new Willimantic store is a relocation of one of the four stores operating in Conn. and Mass. Adam Baglan, owner of Better Sleep LLC "likes the site's location, traffic and exposure."
Kirby of Lyman Real Estate was the sole agent involved in this transaction.
