Learn about new data security rules-March 25

March 17, 2010 - Construction Design & Engineering
As of March 1, Massachusetts has a new "data security law" that is one of the toughest in the nation. The new law applies to all businesses, large and small, that collect "personal information" from customers or employees, and it requires that all businesses take steps to protect this information, whether social security numbers, driver's license, credit card or other financial data. To bring contractors up to speed on the new law, ASM will hold a seminar on Thursday, March 25, 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the Westin Waltham. Speakers include Atty. Maura Greene of Keegan Werlin LLP and David Bardelli, CPCU, of Mazonson LLC. Visit the ASM website for more information.
