Lee Kennedy Co. hires Edic as director of environmental health & safety program

Lee Kennedy Co. has hired Jason Edic to lead the firm's safety program. With nearly 20 years in the construction industry, Edic has led health and safety programs for construction managers and owners alike, giving him a well-rounded perspective on construction safety. Edic will be responsible for growing Lee Kennedy Co.'s active safety program and work to enhance the company's employee and subcontractor training efforts as well as educate employees and clients on LKCo's insurance programs. During Edic's time on the owner's side, he served as manager of Harvard University's Environmental Health & Safety Construction Services Group. In this capacity, Edic developed and implemented the University's well-regarded Construction EH&S Program, Contractor Safety Assessment Program and Substance Abuse Prevention Program. "Jason Edic is very highly thought of in the construction industry. His experience, attention to detail and high quality standards make him an ideal fit for LKCo. and ensure that our safety and health program remain at the forefront of the industry," said Don Cook, Lee Kennedy Co.'s general superintendent.
