Lee Kennedy honored by AGC for safety record
Lee Kennedy Company was awarded the Associated General Contractors' 2007 Merit Award for its Exemplary Safety Record. The award, given to only nine contractors, recognizes companies that maintain an incident rate 25% below the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) Incident Rate.
This is the third safety award Lee Kennedy Co. has received so far in 2008. The company also won the Mass. Safety Council's Group Safety Award and earned Blue-level status - the highest possible - in AGC and OSHA's Construction Health & Safety Excellence (CHASE) program for the third consecutive year.
