Leitner and Lowe of Cresa Boston arrange 15,247 s/f lease for AKF Group

Brandon Leitner and Rick Lowe of Cresa Boston represented AKF Group in a 15,247 s/f office lease at 99 Bedford St. in downtown. Presently occupying 7,820 s/f at 41 Farnsworth St. in the city's Innovation District, AKF is targeting spring 2014 as a move-in date to the five-story, 84,000 s/f standalone office building, where it will occupy the entire second floor. Barry Dubé and Kari Panutich of Cresa's project management group will oversee and manage the construction and relocation to the building. The landlord, Plymouth Rock Assurance, was represented by Ted Wheatley, Dan Cavanaugh, and Brad McGill at Jones Lang LaSalle. According to Leitner, Brian Mulkerrin, PE, Managing Partner of AKF Boston, AKF views 99 Bedford Street as the perfect building and location for expanding its operations in Boston.
