East Boston, MA All 80 waterfront units at Lendlease’s Slip65 have sold or are under agreement, less than eight weeks after sales began. The pre-construction sell-out sets a new standard for the city and marks a successful entry for Lendlease into Boston.
Slip65 is part of the first phase of development of Lendlease’s Clippership Wharf, a mixed-use community on the waterfront, and the first development for Lendlease in the city. Clippership Wharf is being delivered in two phases and will be comprised of four buildings, including condominiums and rental apartments, retail spaces, and high-quality amenities.
“Selling out pre-construction, in just eight weeks, affirms our faith in this neighborhood, and reflects our commitment to creating a unique lifestyle,” said Nick Iselin, general manager for Lendlease Development. “We have leveraged an incredible location and complemented the East Boston community with a sustainable design, waterfront access, and community engagement. That approach resonated with buyers. They felt at home at Slip65, and we can’t wait to welcome them to Clippership Wharf next year.”
“The extraordinary sales pace at Slip65 firmly establishes East Boston as one of the city’s hottest neighborhoods and highlights the continued strong demand for waterfront lifestyles,” said Sue Hawkes, managing director of the Collaborative Companies, Slip65’s sales agent. “The views, amenities, convenience and price has impressed everyone who walked through the sales center.”
“Everyone who has visited our project has marveled at the incredible views, high-end amenities, and unmatched waterfront access that Slip65 provides,” Iselin said. “We can’t wait to open this opportunity up to future residents of Clippership Wharf in the months ahead.”
Set directly on Boston Harbor adjacent to Maverick Sq., Clippership Wharf boasts the city’s most spectacular views of the Boston skyline and the shortest commute to Downtown – just one stop on the Blue Line or under 10 minutes via water taxi. Residents of Clippership Wharf will enjoy an unparalleled waterfront experience, including an expanded Harborwalk, a rocky beach and living shoreline area, public docks, new public art installations, and a dynamic vision for community programming and dining.
