The Lightstone Group, one of the largest private real estate owners in the country, has signed a long-term, 21,800 s/f lease with K&G Theatres, LLC, to create the Bloomfield 8 Cinemas at the Wintonbury Mall.
With significant community interest driving demand, the Bloomfield 8 Cinemas will open in the spring and will show first run movies. The cinemas will also serve as another key draw for the Wintonbury Mall, which is located at 865 Park Ave., right in the center of town and across from town hall. Additional stores include H&R Block, Citi Financial, Arthur Murray Dance Center, State Farm Insurance and Bank of America.
"In searching for a home for our next movie theatre, Wintonbury Mall offered an ideal location as well as the opportunity to move in extremely quickly," said Tim Keefner, principal of K&G Theatres.
