Lyman Real Estate sells 395 Ellsworth Avenue
New Haven, CT Lyman Real Estate brokered the sale of a two-family rental property at 395 Ellsworth Ave. CEO Ron Lyman, CCIM, said the deal was done roughly 30 days after agent Eric Reisner’s first meeting with the seller. This was an unusual situation, because the house needed a full rehab to comply with code and get a Certificate of Occupancy for the upstairs apartment, but the owner lacked the necessary funds.
Reisner worked out the net proceeds the owner could realistically expect from an “as is” sale, and she agreed to list the house.
