Mabbett awarded two Veteran Affairs contracts

Mabbett & Associates, Inc. has been awarded, as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) prime contractor, two separate major contracts with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The combined value is $3.31 million.
VISN 1 VA New England Healthcare System, Comprehensive Survey for Suspected Lead-Based Paint (LBP) and Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM), $2.4 million. Survey includes 11 Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) campuses, 60 Vet Centers and Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) and hundreds of buildings representing 8 million s/f to assess/reassess ACM and LBP. The surveys include overall program execution and implementation of internal and external quality control procedures to achieve delivery of project requirements, intense field sampling performed by Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) certified and state licensed asbestos and lead paint inspection teams, as well as the preparation of hundreds of individual facility reports and ACM Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Plans.
VISN 2 Healthcare Network Upstate New York, Comprehensive Survey for Suspected ACM, $910K. Survey includes six VAMC campuses, which includes over 150 buildings and 4 million s/f to assess/reassess ACM. The surveys include intense field sampling performed by AHERA certified and state licensed asbestos inspection teams, labelling of friable ACM, as well as the preparation of hundreds of individual facility reports and O&M Plans for each VAMC.
