Maguire joins Skanska USA Building as vice president as project executive

Skanska USA Building has hired Jim Maguire as vice president and project executive.
Maguire brings 29 years of experience to Skanska. He will oversee projects related to Skanska's work in the life science and utilities markets, such as research labs and cogeneration facilities throughout the New England region.
"Jim brings a sophisticated background in highly complex projects across many industries to Skanska," said Paul Hewins, executive vice president and general manager for Skanska's New England region.
"Respected industry-wide as a knowledgeable resource for program development in laboratory, clean room, specialty process, cGMP facilities, central utility and cogeneration facilities, Jim will play an integral part in our growth in New England's life sciences market."
Prior to Skanska, Maguire served as executive director at A/Z Corporation, where he managed high grade projects in the pharmaceutical and technology industries. Previously, Maguire worked for Fluor and ADP Marshall supporting major project initiatives throughout the Northeast for several Fortune 1000 clients.
Maguire graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology with a bachelor's degree in architectural engineering.
