March 25 roundtable to cover driver/fleet safety

March 20, 2008 - Construction Design & Engineering
It's a little-known fact that one in four "struck by vehicle" deaths involves construction workers. With that alarming statistic in mind, ASM's next Safety Roundtable on March 25 will focus on how to implement effective driver and fleet safety programs. A panel of experts from Applegate Associates, Acadia Insurance and Eastern Insurance will cover the policies and procedures to include in a vehicle safety program, and highlight the safety benefits and insurance cost savings that result from a strong program. A case study of two companies will bring the information alive. The Roundtable is hosted in cooperation with OSHA and DOS, and will take place at Eastern Insurance in Natick from 10 a.m. to noon. Admission is free; call ASM to register.
