Marcoz Antiques opens 1,700 s/f showroom - lease from Liberty Mutual

Marcoz, LLC opened a new 1,700 s/f showroom at 10 St. James Ave. in Park Sq. The company signed a five-year lease with property owner Liberty Mutual. Located in the city's Design District, Marcoz is now one of the city's largest antique showroom. Marcoz features a diverse collection of fine, rare antiques and collectibles from around the world in three distinct galleries. The store specializes in 18th to 20th century European furnishings. Marcoz collections consist of furniture, lighting, china and ceramics, clocks, glass, paintings, antique maps, jewelry and accessories. Marcoz also provides its clientele interior design services, lamp-making/rewiring, hand sewn lampshades, custom upholstery and furniture restoration. Prior to the new location, Marcoz had operated a showroom on Newbury St. for 39 years. The company was founded by its proprietor, Marc Glasberg, in 1972. Marcoz had also formerly operated a second showroom at the Boston Design Center.
